Open to elementary school–aged children, accompanied by an adult.
Get ready to swing, clap, and dance your way through the amazing world of jazz music! Join us for an exciting musical adventure where kids and grown-ups will discover the magic of jazz together. We’re thrilled to bring back this special family concert for its second amazing year!
Led by an All-Star quartet of musicians - drummer Richie Barshay (who makes the drums sing!), clarinetist Evan Arntzen (master of the smooth, soulful clarinet), 2025 Grammy Award Winner pianist Zaccai Curtis (whose fingers dance across the piano keys), and bassist Wes Brown (who makes the bass groove and bounce) - this special concert is designed just for families like yours!
You won’t just sit and listen - you’ll be part of the music! Clap along to the rhythms, snap your fingers to the beat, and maybe even learn some cool jazz moves. Discover how jazz was born, learn about the legendary musicians who made it famous, and hear all the different sounds that make jazz so special and fun.
Whether you’re 5 or 95 (a kid-at-heart!), this toe-tapping, smile-making concert will have everyone in the family moving to the music and falling in love with jazz!
